Evaluations Set for February 23rd

SOFTBALL:
Player evaluations will take place on Sunday, February 23. Girls registered for 7/8 (Pee-Wee) and 9/10 (Minors) softball in the spring are invited. Evaluations for 4/5 & 5/6 Baseball/Softball or 11/12 Majors softball are not necessary.

Sunday, February 23rd at Highland Hills Middle School gym
7/8 Pee-Wee Softball - 1-3pm
9/10 Minors Softball - 2-4pm

Bring bat, facemask and glove. We will have extras if needed.

Wear tennis shoes. NO CLEATS!

BASEBALL:
Evaluations will take place in the Floyd Central High School auxiliary gym, courts C and D, divided by age group, as follows:
7/8 Machine Pitch. - 12:30-2:30 Court C
9/10 Minors - 12:30-2:30 Court D
11/12 Majors - 3:00-4:00 Court C
50/70 Intermediate, Junior and Seniors leagues - 3:00-4:00 Court D
Players will go through a quick circuit for division coach evaluation. of which will include a short sprint, fielding a few ground and fly balls, throwing, and a hitting station. Player pitch divisions will include a few pitches as well.
It is important that registered players attend evaluations. The evaluations are used by the coaches and board in an effort to ensure we are compliling teams in a fair manner. Our goal is to evenly match teams to provide the best experience for all. Player evaluations are essential in accomplishing that goal.
